thank you! i'm glad you like this work of mine. I hope you don't find it blasphemous.. heehee
"Mr. God, this is Anna?" You know lots of books. Would you mind telling me what your favorite book is? I'm not an avid reader. I merely have time to read.. but I read once in a while, specially if the book holds you down to your seat.
i dont have a favourite book or author. i dont like to stick to one cathegory. i consider myself interested in many things so in reflection my library has many different books in it.
BUT...i do have a soft spot for Edgar Alan Poe. Allan Moore. Milan Kundera and Charles Bukowski
hehe i mentioned 4 authors that are very different from each other but still i search for the topic , the content and not the author mainly.
"Mr God this is Anna" is a book about a little girl and it has this "Little Prince" type of perception from a child. in which the child's innocence and energy is compared to the adult. ... and so on...i dont want to spoil anything coz u shoud read this book
hey buddy! how are you? how was vacation? Happy new year!
that's cool - sticking to a lot of categories! i'm not much of a reader though.. but I read some books sometimes..
dude, i'm sorry to disappoint you but of all those names that you mentioned.. (Poe, Moore, Kundera, and Bukowski) the only one that I'm familiar with is Poe. In what categories does the other authors belong to?
Mr God this is Anna? I'll try to look for that book!
hey man happy new year to you too vacation...well mainly i spent 2 weeks with my girlfriend after not seeing her for 4 months coz she is studyin abroad in hungary. it was nice obviously
Bukowski's literature is mainly personal experience sprinkled with a tinge of sarcasm ALL OVER his books and a harsh dose of realism as well. he has written FACTOTUM, HAM on RYE ..
Kundera's is regarded as a philosopher. for me he is a novelist with philosophical connotations. he has a way of writing about human's innermost thoughts and feelings within the context of novelisation..he is very interesting. 2 of his books are THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING (also a film starring Daniel Day Lewis and Juliette Binoche) and IDENTITY.
Moore regards himself as a "comic book messiah" he has written some of the most important books in the comic book medium. in my opinion he is the best, but mainly because his way of writing fits to my taste as well. he has written FROM HELL, WATCHMEN, V FOR VENDETTA amongst others...these 3 are already regarded as le creme de la creme in the graphic novel medium.
Poe...i will never tire of that story THE CASK OF AMONTILLADO. Its a masterpiece.
hey me ok hehe. i dont think it will be that difficult to find these authors, since they are quite known.
im ok, spending as much time as possible with my gf since she is leaving on the 25th. then my band and i will be busy because next april we will debut live hopefully. so its gna be hectic. but at least we are prepared
good to hear that you're okay buddy. I haven't found these authors yet.. but I'll keep lookin
I see, she's leaving where?Wow that's cool dude!! What genre are you guys into?
My plans? Well I applied for a job as a graphic designer, BUT i though about it thoroughly and it seems that I don't want some nut-head changing my work according to his taste.. and man, I don't think I'd let anybody change my art, until I see fit. I've had this experience with a company that wanted me to create a logo for them. I got pissed really.. cause what they wanted was totally different from what I thought..
SO yesterday I applied for a job as an English instructor
