Hi flickerees, I love this picture you took of the boy in the field! I am making a short youtube video for a book trailer for my soon to be released self-published book. Can I get your permission to used this photograph in the video? Of course will give you credit for the picture. If you are interested, I will also send you a free copy of the book (althogh the picture is for a youtube video , not for the book itself) Please let me know if I have your permission to use the picture. Thank you! - Kannan
good effect... However, my critique would be that the horizon line which is mystified and runs straight through his arms that connects the clouds and field show have some more stability. I think it would be more suitable, if you didn't mystify the distance, it takes away from the greatness of depth that could be portrayed. (Just imagine, you focus on the child, and then you want to know where he's running to). It has good sense of lighting. And my critique on that would be that the sunrays bursting through the clouds could be more contrasted with everything else by a means of isolation. Maybe you could make it seem more far, or brighter, i dunno.
Sorry, one last thing, (im sure you know this) the child should probably be placed not "exactly" in the center, but offset somewhere outside the "visual center box" of the image.
I have just started to look at art differently, and I try and give good critiques, so I hope you agree...
